The company’s vigorous pursuit of excellence is based on a policy of continual investment in people and technology. Modern facilities provide a suitably safe
and hygienic environment for the production of food containers. Consistent product quality is assured by strict adherence to the international quality management standard BS EN ISO 9001.
This includes all aspects of Design, Development, Production and Customer Service and is overseen by the British Standards Institute.
Product Design
Working closely with customers we have developed and produced many of the attractive packs seen on supermarket shelves.
Our technologists can offer advice on all aspects of the pack design and production to help meet every requirement.
Product Decoration
As well as normal dry offset printing, we can now offer a superior “Paramount” print for lids and round pots. This unique
combination of technology, equipment and expertise results in a high definition print, hitherto only available on pre-printed inserts or labels. Where special design conditions are unable to be met
by direct printing, we can offer the application of pre-printed labels. Development is also underway for the application of In-Mould Labels to non round containers.
Graphic Design
Our in-house Graphic Design department provides a complete origination and reprographic facility. Our experienced design
team is always ready to offer advice on new projects. The latest technology is used to rapidly originate and process designs for printing. To help minimise pre-press time an ISDN link has been installed
to allow instant transmission of digital artworks for processing or proofing.
Engineering
Wilsanco has a well equipped engineering department with the latest in computer aided design and manufacturing facilities.
Interactive 3D design and visualisation offers a rapid prototyping and sampling service - from concept to reality in the shortest possible time.
People and Training
Employee training and development is recognised by management to be fundamental to ongoing business success. This ensures
a competent professional approach to tasks at all levels throughout the company.
Environmental
In keeping with a policy of continuous improvement Wilsanco has established a programme of environmental controls and is currently
working towards registration to the Environmental Management Standard BS EN ISO 14001.

Hygiene
Wilsanco achieved ADAS Hygiene Accreditation in 1997 and since then has been accredited to the BRC/IoP Global Standard for Food Packaging which is overseen by Probita Limited.
